What is stored on your device
The site uses local browser storage for a random player identifier, an optional nickname and the session state needed for streaks and private Oracle Circles. Clearing site data resets that local identity.
What reaches our server
We store anonymous gameplay events such as mode starts, completions, replays, shares, question numbers, answer values, elapsed time and streak activity. Circle records include the nickname you choose and a private invite code. We do not ask players for an email address, real name, phone number or date of birth.
When the Oracle misses
You may optionally submit the name of the person or character you had in mind. The submitted name, answers and failed guesses are stored privately so the guessing knowledge base can be improved. Do not enter private information about yourself or another person.
Advertising and third parties
No advertising network is active in this build. Reserved ad spaces are visual placeholders only. Before personalised advertising or a new analytics provider is introduced, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated.
Children and contact
The service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Privacy questions or deletion requests can be sent to vibe.oracle1@gmail.com.
